This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of WETOX(Weidian (Hongkong) Technology Co., Limited) ("we", "us", or "our") in connection with the WETOX mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Services"). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services.

Our Services primarily include functionalities for pairing with, connecting to, and interacting with compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, monitoring device information and status, and facilitating Over-the-Air ("OTA") software updates for your connected V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) devices.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use or access the Services.

This App utilizes Bluetooth/Location permissions solely for hardware discovery and communication with WETOX adapters; we strictly do not collect, store, or transmit any user location data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information to provide, secure, and improve our Services. The information we collect falls into two categories:

A. Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: When you register for or use the Services, you provide information such as your email address.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: When you connect your V2L device, we collect technical information necessary for core functionality, such as unique device identifiers (e.g., MAC address), device model, firmware version, hardware serial number, real-time power output, and battery voltage levels.
Usage Information: We collect information about your interaction with the App and your devices, including connection timestamps and success/failure status, feature usage history (e.g., discharge settings activated), and OTA update progress and results.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use these technologies to facilitate App operation, analyze trends, and ensure security. You can manage preferences through your browser or device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following business and operational purposes:

Service Provision: To operate, maintain, and provide the Services, including Bluetooth pairing, data display, and OTA updates.
Communication: To send you service-related messages, including security alerts and administrative notifications.
Improvement: To analyze usage trends to improve the safety, reliability, and functionality of our Services and devices.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
